Division Order Analyst

Walker Elliott is working with an upstream oil and gas company in Houston is seeking a Division Order Analyst to join their Land Administration team. This full-time role will focus on setting up new wells, ensuring data integrity, and supporting cross-departmental collaboration with a strong focus on Texas properties. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with division order functions and be comfortable working in a digital-forward environment utilizing tools like P2, LandVantage, and ThoughtTrace. Responsibilities:

• Perform day-to-day division order functions including new well setups and maintenance of ownership records.
• Ensure data accuracy and integrity within Company land systems through regular reviews, analysis, and remedial efforts.
• Facilitate communication and workflow between Land Administration and departments such as Land, Legal, Accounting, and IT.
• Monitor compliance with internal policies using reporting tools and dashboards.
• Collaborate with Land Operations and Land Administration teams to develop and refine processes.
• Assist with special projects

Qualifications:

• Experience in upstream oil & gas with a focus on Texas wells.
• Proficiency in land systems (P2, LandVantage, ThoughtTrace) preferred.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment.
