Job Title: Global Sales Specialist – Ground Control Points (GCPs)

Location: Remote / Flexible, with global travel as needed

Reports To: Director of Sales or VP of Sales

Position Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Global Sales Specialist to lead worldwide sales and business development efforts for our Ground Control Points (GCPs) product line. This role is vital to expanding our market presence, growing revenue, and building strategic partnerships within the geospatial, remote sensing, and mapping sectors. The ideal candidate will bring a deep technical understanding of GCPs, proven sales success, and the ability to navigate complex global markets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive global sales strategy for GCPs, aligned with revenue and market share goals.
  • Identify, qualify, and secure new business opportunities across target sectors including energy, defense, government, and commercial industries.
  • Build and nurture relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders worldwide to support long-term business growth.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with technical teams (e.g., pre-sales engineers, product managers) to develop tailored solutions that meet client needs and highlight the value of our GCP products.
  • Own the full sales cycle , from lead generation and proposal development to negotiation and closing.
  • Create and refine sales collateral in collaboration with marketing to effectively convey the benefits and value proposition of our GCP archive and services.
  • Track market trends and customer feedback to inform product improvements, pricing strategies, and competitive positioning.
  • Negotiate pricing, contracts, and licensing agreements that maximize profitability and client satisfaction.
  • Provide regular updates to leadership, including sales forecasts, pipeline activity, and performance metrics.
  • Represent the company globally , attending conferences, client meetings, and business development events.
  • Support partnership-based models , including subscription and royalty-based licensing of GCP data.
  • Ensure seamless project handoff and ongoing coordination with internal delivery teams post-sale.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Geospatial Science, Geography, Engineering, Business, or a related field (advanced degree preferred).
  • 5+ years of successful sales experience in geospatial data, remote sensing, surveying, or related technical domains.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets in a global or multi-regional environment.
  • Deep knowledge of GCPs, geospatial data accuracy, and related technologies.
  • Experience with subscription or recurring revenue models is highly desirable.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
  • Self-starter with the ability to thrive in a cross-functional, fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness and ability to travel internationally up to 40%.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems and sales analytics tools.
  • Multilingual skills are a plus.
