The 478-bed acute care facility is an ACS level I trauma center and has been recognized as a Top Performing Hospital, recently awarded an "A" rating for the Leapfrog Hospital Safety award. RCH is also a well-known teaching facility with multiple residency and fellowship programs. It is one of Riverside County's only STEMI receiving centers and a comprehensive Stroke Center.
