Overview:
Join a private EMS company primarily providing inter-facility transfers, with the potential to support local 911 services as needed. This is a great opportunity for experienced paramedics looking for a structured, high-paying rotational schedule.
Assignment Details:
- Duration: 16 weeks
- Schedule: 14 days on / 14 days off (Wednesday to Wednesday)
- Shift Length: 12-hour shifts
- Compensation: $6,220 per 14-day work period
- Travel Stipend: $400 included in pay
- Pay Frequency: Biweekly
- Call Volume: Average of 4 to 7 calls per 12-hour shift
- Lodging: Provided during scheduled work weeks only
Responsibilities:
- Provide emergency medical services and patient transport.
- Respond to inter-facility transfers and 911 calls as needed.
- Deliver high-quality patient care in both emergency and non-emergency settings.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2–3 years paramedic experience.
Work Schedule May Include:
- Day and evening shifts.
- Night and overnight shifts.
- Weekdays, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Certifications Required:
- BLS Certification (Required).
- PALS Certification (Required).
- ACLS Certification (Required).
- Texas EMS or EMS Compact State License (Required).
