Job Description

ProHealth Partners is an established multi-specialty physician group and has been providing care to patients over the last 30 years. Our network includes over 250+ physicians in over 100+ clinics throughout the greater Long Beach, Los Angeles, Orange County, and Inland Empire areas. We currently have an opening for a Medical Scribe. Experience in cardiology preferred.

Job Type: Part-time, direct hire

Pay: $21-25 per hour

Hours: Monday-Friday, 12 hours per week

Responsibilities

• Accurately transcribe medical information during patient visits, including history, examination findings, and treatment plans.
• Maintain up-to-date medical records and ensure compliance with documentation standards.
• Assist healthcare providers with administrative tasks to improve workflow efficiency.
• Collaborate with medical staff to ensure accurate and timely documentation of patient care.
• Utilize medical terminology and anatomy knowledge to enhance the quality of documentation.

Skills

• 1+ years' experience in the medical field, required.
• Bilingual in Spanish, required.
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology.
• Proven experience in medical documentation and record-keeping.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems, preferred.
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail are essential.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced medical office environment.
